The Tapas tradition is the delightful Spanish custom of gathering at ‘Tascas’ (watering holes providing food) for a glass of wine or beer and sampling a range of different dishes amongst friends, replacing the north Europeans’ starters and main course style of eating.

Now picture scores of Spaniards packed in a bar, heartily and heatedly engaged in conversation while at the same time drinking and eating, it’s obvious the Tapas atmosphere is far from sober and sedate. Grab yourself a drink, order your dishes and away you go.

If you’ve never tried this style before, don’t be afraid to ask us for some suggestions, on drinks as well as food.

In addition to our evening tapas selection, we are now open at lunchtimes serving traditional mains for £7.50 alongside a selection of homemade cakes, soup, snacks and salads from £2.95. Our regular extensive tapas section will also be available.
